PFERD POLICAP Tapered Conical Radius Abrasive Caps are designed for precision grinding, deburring, blending and fine finishing in narrow contours, tapered recesses, internal profiles and difficult-to-reach areas.

The tapered conical shape with a rounded radius end provides excellent access into confined areas while maintaining controlled abrasive contact with the workpiece.

These caps are particularly useful for applications including internal contour grinding, edge blending, deburring, shaping, recess finishing and detailed surface preparation where a standard cylindrical or conical cap may not provide enough access.

Available in a range of sizes, abrasive types and grit grades, the POLICAP system allows the correct cap to be selected for heavier material removal through to fine finishing.

Suitable materials include steel, stainless steel (INOX), aluminium and other metals, depending on the selected abrasive specification and grit.

Always use POLICAP abrasive caps with the correct compatible holder and observe the recommended operating speed for the selected size.
