PFERD POLICAP Conical Radius Abrasive Caps are designed for precision grinding, blending, deburring and fine finishing on contours, internal profiles and difficult-to-reach areas.

The conical shape with a rounded radius end combines good access with a broad working surface, making these caps particularly useful for shaping, smoothing and finishing curved or recessed components.

Available in a wide range of sizes and abrasive types, the range includes:

  • Aluminium oxide for general-purpose grinding and finishing
  • Silicon carbide SIC-COOL for selected non-ferrous and specialist applications
  • Ceramic oxide CO-COOL for more demanding grinding and higher stock-removal performance

Grit options cover coarse to fine finishing, allowing the correct POLICAP cap to be selected for applications including deburring, edge work, contour grinding, internal profile finishing, surface preparation and fine finishing.

Suitable materials include steel, stainless steel (INOX), aluminium and other metals, depending on the selected abrasive grain and grit.

Always use POLICAP abrasive caps with the correct compatible holder and observe the recommended operating speed for the selected size.
