PFERD Mammoth Electric Flexible-Shaft Drive Units are high-performance industrial drive systems designed for demanding grinding, milling, deburring, brushing, polishing, cutting and surface-finishing applications.
The electronically controlled PFERD Mammoth systems provide stepless rotational-speed adjustment and high torque across a broad speed range, making them suitable for intensive workshop, fabrication, maintenance and continuous-duty production environments.
Flexible-shaft drive systems allow power to be transmitted from the stationary drive unit to a compatible handpiece, giving the operator greater access, control and flexibility when working on large components, complex shapes and difficult-to-reach areas.

These drive units support a wide range of compatible PFERD flexible shafts and handpieces, allowing the system to be configured for different tools, speed ranges and industrial applications.
Suitable for work on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, non-ferrous metals, plastics and other industrial materials, depending on the tool fitted.
