PFERD CC-GRIND STRONG SG STEEL is a high-performance ceramic grinding disc designed for extremely fast stock removal, weld dressing and heavy surface grinding on steel.
The STRONG design features a backing pad that also contributes to the grinding process, together with three abrasive layers that can be worked through progressively, giving the tool up to three times the service life of CC-GRIND SOLID SG STEEL.
The highly aggressive ceramic abrasive delivers rapid material removal for demanding fabrication, engineering and metalworking applications.
Compared with conventional grinding wheels, CC-GRIND STRONG offers significantly improved operator comfort, with noise and vibration reduced by up to 50% and dust by up to 70%.
Its stable construction also helps produce a cleaner, more controlled surface finish than conventional grinding wheels.
