PFERD ALUMASTER HSD-R 50 is a compact high-performance milling disc designed for rapid stock removal in radial applications on aluminium and other suitable non-ferrous materials.

With a diameter of approximately 50mm, the HSD-R 50 is particularly useful where a smaller tool is required for more confined areas, detailed edge work and controlled material removal using compatible angle or straight grinders.

Designed primarily for aluminium, wrought aluminium alloys and cast aluminium, the tool can also be used on suitable non-ferrous metals and fibre-reinforced plastics where the application is appropriate.

ALUMASTER uses replaceable carbide cutting inserts rather than conventional bonded abrasive material, providing fast machining performance, strong control and reduced abrasive waste during demanding fabrication and metalworking applications.

Typical applications include edge machining, weld dressing, contour work and heavy stock removal where radial access and a more compact tool size are beneficial.
