FERD ALUMASTER HSD-F 115/125 is a high-performance milling disc designed for rapid stock removal on aluminium and other suitable non-ferrous materials.
The HSD-F design is developed specifically for flat applications, providing fast, controlled material removal on aluminium, wrought aluminium alloys and cast aluminium. It can also be used on suitable non-ferrous metals and fibre-reinforced plastics where the application is appropriate.
Unlike conventional bonded grinding wheels, ALUMASTER uses replaceable carbide cutting inserts to provide highly efficient machining performance, reduced abrasive waste and excellent control during demanding fabrication and metalworking applications.
Suitable for use on 115mm and 125mm angle grinders, the system is ideal for applications including weld dressing, surface machining, edge preparation and heavy stock removal on aluminium.
Available in Standard and HICOAT variants, allowing the tool to be selected according to the application and required performance.
