Mounted Points

Mounted points are shank-mounted grinding tools for precise deburring, weld dressing, edge preparation and work on bores and contours. Browse our PFERD mounted points for use with a compatible straight grinder or flexible shaft.

Choose the range for your material and application. STEEL and STEEL EDGE cover work on steel and cast steel; INOX ranges are designed for stainless steel; CAST ranges suit cast iron; and ALU is for aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. PFERD TOUGH mounted points are designed for demanding work on materials such as titanium, nickel alloys and hardened steel. Rubber grinding points are also available for softer materials.

Once you have chosen the range, select the shape, head dimensions, shank diameter and abrasive grade required for the job. Options include cylindrical, ball, pointed tree, conical and Series A and B shapes. Check that the shank and operating speed suit your grinder.
